Carry In not Out!

My husband and I love carry out! But don’t get me wrong. We’re not slothful beings who would rather pick up the phone, place an order, and carry out our grub. We just love the bold Asian flavors, all the veggies, and yes, the chopsticks! So, we’ve started the tradition of Carry-In at our house. It’s a win-win situation. We get more bang for our buck! No need to fight over who gets the last shrimp or why the noodles outnumber the veggies. Stirfrying is the quickest way to make a fresh meal at home that you don’t have to carry out! Try this quick Carry-In meal next-time you get the craving for a quick Chinese fix. Heat your wok up on medium-low with some fresh garlic, ginger, and a combination of sauces, sweet chili, oyster, fish, and soy, for a couple minutes to make a simple, yet flavorful base for wheat linguini, fresh carrots, bell peppers, and scallions. After slicing your vegetables in julienne strips, toss them into the sauce (best if your wok is on high heat) for just a couple minutes. Finally, throw in the shrimp for just a couple more minutes, and finally your al-dente linguini tossing frequently. In no time you’ve got yourself Carry-In Chinese!!
